Not posted in the hope of identifying the man, more to show what some people had to deal with post-war.


Cheltenham Chronicle, Saturday 16th March 1907


Five children died in Portsmouth in the first quarter of 1907: -
Norman Frank Hunt, aged under 1
Alice Hunt, aged 1
Leonard Charles Hunt, aged 3
Ethelwyn Hunt, aged 7
Florence Mabel Hunt, aged 10

I was then able to confirm their birth registrations: -
Florence Mabel Hunt, born 1897, Winchester, Hampshire; mother's maiden name was Young
Ethelwin Hunt, born 1899, Winchester; mother's maiden name was Young
Leonard Charles Hunt, born 1904, Droxford, Hampshire; mother's maiden name was Young
Alice Hunt, born 1905, Droxford; mother's maiden name was Young
Norman Frank Hunt, born 1906, Droxford; mother's maiden name was Young
