The outlines of the figures and the guns look to have been enhanced, but it's still an interesting photo of the military funeral of an ABW veteran. Unfortunately, neither Dundee paper said anything about which cemetery it was at.
...."Impressive scenes marked the funeral yesterday of Mr Daniel Robertson, an old member of the Black Watch Association, who died with tragic suddenness at a social gathering of the Association on Friday last. At the graveside a touching dirge was played by a piper, and when the remains of the old soldier were lowered to their last resting-place a firing party fired three volleys. Mr Robertson was engaged in the South African War, and when the National Reserve was formed in Dundee he became a member, being still very enthusiastic in military matters."
Dundee Courier, Wednesday 22nd January 1913
He was probably Daniel Campbell Robertson, born in Dundee, 1867, and who died aged 45.
