Good Morning Ladies and Gentlemen:

I have attached some pictures of a commercial Keen's Mustard tin.....

The caddy/tin is painted all over with multi colours a very good example of the graphic artists work.....

There are 5 panels, mostly taken from news photos that have been published before:

Top: A portrait picture of Lord Roberts, entitled "Field Marshal Lord Roberts"
Sides:

One: Titled - Lord Roberts Entering Bloemfontein
Two: Titled - Bringing Up The Guns
Three: Titled - Lord Roberts Entertainment of the Military Attaches at Pretoria
Four: The Outposts

On the inside of the lid is a paper label Cream and printed with Red and Black.....

The height is: 6 Inches
The sides are: 6 ½ x 6 Inches.

Rarity: 6 / 10 and price depends on condition of paint......

You can see the marks on the tin where the thumb and finger took and replaced the tin on the store keepers shelf to get your Mum's 1d worth of mustard.....

This tin shows up occasionally on eBay..... But you have to watch and make sure the paper lable and the inner lid are there....

Good Afternoon Everyone.......

O.M.G. ........

Just came back from a Goodwill / Oxfam in UK store and now have 2 more of these tins.....

I got a phone call from a friend who had seen them and wanted yo know if I would have been interested in them...... Yes of course......

Went right down and got them both...... Store manager had a price tag of $10.00 (L 5.25)each but said since they were not in great condition I could have both for $14.00 (L 7.36).......

And it is not even my birthday......

I haven't seen anything remotely interesting in a UK charity shop for about 10 years, and I live here.

Well done Mike.
