Although not a rifle round, I recently saw a "dug-up" artifact at the South African Museum of Military History. It appears to be a hollow or soft point .455 Webley round. Quite an interesting find.

Officially titled as "Cartridge SA Ball Pistol Webley Cordite Mark III (Also Enfield)", more commonly known these days as .455" Webley Mk.3. A formidable round, indeed.
Approved 2/1898, in 1900 it was ordered that no more Mark III would be manufactured and that existing stocks be used up for practice. In service it was replaced by the standard .455" Mark II (round nosed lead bullet).
