Looks like my posts on this subject got a bit split up! The topmost round in my pic is a standard .303" Ball Cordite Mk.11. Standard issue during the ABW. The bottom round is an 8x60Rmm for the Guedes rifle used by the Boers.
The post supplied by QSAMIKE gives the background to my supplying the pic. Over the Christmas/NY break, I plan do do a post on the Boer 7mm Mauser round and some of the rather surprising background to it's supply.
