Maybe I heard the name wrong but I heard George Ives?????

I can only find two George Ives:

Ives, George 21198, Trooper 1st Coy., 1st Bn. I.Y.
Ives, George 44342, Trooper* 37th Bn. I.Y.

Hello Mike,
He was George Frederick Ives, I do remember seeing him back in 1992 at the Royal Albert Hall on Armistice Sunday, he died the following year.
