I have been sent details of the forthcoming Boer War weekend 2013 in Richmond, Northern Cape (sadly no Richmond, Northern Yorkshire).

I'd take the Boer over British wines any time but I'm not sure about the 'Executions-Reenactment' part of the agenda!

Its good that that particular part of the proceedings is swiftly followed by sundowners!

Arrrrgh Sundowners. What a great African way of putting the task of polishing off a Castle or two, normally enjoyed in a great spot. I guess Vegkop Fort is one of those memorable places.
