Good morning David,
I like the sound of that Colonial Scout, though, I do think that £260 is, perhaps, all the money, even these days, but, still a really good medal and not one that you will encounter every day of the week.
Kind regards Frank

There was also a good offering of TG medals including Alice and Cradock.

I was quite tempted by a QSA (1) RoL to the Colonial Scouts but, at £260, I gave it a miss. Might come to regret that!

I had 5 hour drive home after the fair yesterday but it was well worth it.

David,

It sounds as if the drive to the fair was well worth it. You are now getting used to the distances and time that we have to travel on a regular basis!

David, any CP medals lying around ??

Adrian,

Sorry to interrupt.
Didn't notice any CP medals there yesterday, when they do turn up they seem reasonably priced.
I picked one up at Wakefield last year for £50 which I thought was a bargain :)

Paul :)

Hello Paul,

Who is the medal named to. Perhaps his papers are still around?

Hello Adrian,

It is to a James Steel, you very kindly at the time researched him for me and sent me his Candidates paper and medical certificate, for which I am always grateful.

Paul :)
