Good Morning Everyone.....

As I mentioned earlier the show was fantastic this year, plenty to see, plenty to buy and some to sell..... Lots of medals as well......

It was estimated that over 10,000 people attended, estimated because they only charge for male members of the family, women and children are allowed in free and there were a lot of couples and families..... I can honestly say that I did not see it all and from what I understand the show will be bigger next year.....

But what did I obtain......

There were a large number of medals there but I guess I am getting to picky and only got one group.....

And a couple of books.....

1) Boer War Operations in South Africa 1899-1901 - Extracts from the Reports of Captain S. L'H. Slocum and Captain Carl Reichman, Published by Scripta Africana, Limited edition of 1000 copies, #716

2) Small Arms of the Anglo-Boer War 1899-1902 by Ron Bester, a nice signed by the author copy.

The Medal group is a QSA/KSA Pair, Full size and Miniature and I.O.O.F. Gold, Silver and Rubies medallion...... Have to edit because I forgot to give the info.....

There were two more pieces purchased one of which is very rare and I will post them later.......

It is the one big show that we have all year and always save and look forward to it.....

In the UK you have medal fairs every month......

Never mind, I suspect you spent rather a lot!
