Good Morning All.....

To follow on from the thread about an Unusual Commemorative Item

Here are some photos of an interesting Tea Tin:

A tea tin or caddy in the shape of an artillery shell....

Marked on side: "Facsimile of Shell - Memento of the Transvaal War 1899-1900"

Marked on Bottom: "Registered Design - Packed by the British & Benington's Tea Trading Asso'n Limited Southwark St. London John Wilson, Tin Printer, Shipley, Sole Maker."

Size Tall: 9 1/4 Inches, 23.5 cm

Size Wide: 3 3/4 Inches, 9.5 cm

Note: One picture is with cap/plug and the other is missing.... Capped ones are hard to find, I have 1 Capped and 3 Cap missing.....
