My Grandfathers medals from the Boer and WW1 wars went missing some 30 years ago.
I would love to buy them back . They include clasps for relief of Ladysmith etc and also an Oak Leaf.
A Long shot , I know!

He was in the Royal Welsh Fusiliers, Name Charles Miles

Now there is an interesting man, I can well understand why you want his medals, I also wonder how they were lost in the first place.

Thank you , I never knew him but is family loved him dearly and was a kind man very involved with the ROAB.
The medals vanished around the time of a party I had in the 70s.
I would buy them back no questions asked.
I have his mentioned in despatches signed by Winston Churchill, some paperwork and a photo.
Would love to get some more stuff for my descendants.
Cheers
John

Hope you come right.

Guys

Our family also fell prey to something like this, my wifes uncle lent his WW2 BEM + group of 6 and an Italian Officers sword to a "friend", who was going to a fancy dress party.......he never returned them!
