I am trying to trace my grandfathers medals. No one in the family has any idea where these medals are.
If they have been sold I would like the opportunity to buy them back.

The medals are;

Queen's South Africa Medal with clasps for Cape Colony, Transval and Orange Free State.
King's South Africa Medal with clasps.
British War Medal.
Victory Medal.
1914 Star Medal.
and possibly the Defence Medal.

Any information about their whereabouts would be much appreciated.

I hope they are all still extant, but, the reality is that they might not.

I hope so.
I hope someone on here will come across one or more of these medals perhaps at an auction or similar. If they don't turn up here then they probably won't turn up at all.
Failing that I will try and get a replica set in a presentation frame for my mother.
