Hello all, I'm searching for my great-great-grandfather's QSA.
His name was Samuel White, service number 35171, and served in 74th (Dublin) Company, 8th Battalion of the Imperial Yeomanry.
His medal should read: 35171 Tpr. S. White, 74th Coy. Imp. Yeo
If anyone has this medal or previously had it, I would appreciate any help in recovering it

Kind regards,
Kyle

I'm afraid it can be looking for the infamous needle in the haystack, all you can do is look throughout current listings of every source you know of in the medal fraternity as well as any archived listings you can access, if found within the latter, at least you will know it stands a good chance of actually remaining extant.
Sadly, even these days, medals are still sold for scrap because they are made from silver, placing an advertisement in the pages of Medal News would also be a good way to go.

I note he was from Larne, it would certainly be a nice medal to have, I wish you bon chance and I do hope you find it.
