Hello,

I'm new to this group, so firstly I'd like to say hello!

I'm currently searching for anything related to my 2nd Great Uncle 24232 Pte Herbert Brooks. Understandably I'd like to find his S.A Medal which would have been accompanied by 5x clasps.

I'm a long time member of ancestry and recently I discovered his service record and medal/clasp entitlements.

CAPE COLONY CLASP.
ORANGE FREE STATE CLASP.
TRANSVAAL CLASP.
SOUTH AFRICA 1901 CLASP.
SOUTH AFRICA 1902 CLASP.

Is there anything else to be discovered from any other resource, that could shed more light on what Herbert did during the 2nd Boer War.

Any assistance would be very much appreciated.
