Looking for a Victorian "MENTIONED IN DISPATCHES" emblem..... The leaf in silver with M.I.D. on it......
I know that these are unofficial but someone must have made them, looking for 3 of them anybody able to help.....

Can't help with the Welcome Home item - BUT I did see those MID emblems on our favourite on-line auction site. Obviously someone is currently making them or was earlier this year.

I'll attach an image of the unofficial MiD emblem that you are talking about. I'm going to go out on a limb here, I have predominantly seen these emblems for sale in Australia and associated with the QSA collection of the late William (Bill) Woolmore and more recently on everyone's favourite auction site, ebay.
I would imagine that Bill Woolmore or an associate of his at some stage have produced these emblems to add to their medals to recognise soldiers who were entitled, due to being Mentioned in Despatches.



I have also noted that seven of these emblems sold through Noble Auctions (Lot 3898) in November 2020 for A$190.
