Ex Sgt J Bell and Bugler G Lamb 3rd Btn Royal Irish Rifles proceeded to India from Durban per S S Lalpooni 6.10.99. Queen's SA Medal (with Natal clasps) issued in each case. At the time issue was made it was stated that the vessel left Durban 12.10.99. Error subsequently discovered and medals recovered.
