Colonial Office forwards a copy of a Bill before Australian House of Representatives, relating to the disposal of medals.

It was ascertained 20/9/12 that the above mentioned bill did not become law.

C.2 promised to consider the matter of traffic in stolen goods (medals), if there is a chance of reconsidering a medal bill.

Case of Major W.H. Oliver, Reserve of Officers, whose King’s and Queen’s SA medals were stolen, pawned and subsequently purchased by Dr AD Payne.
