Troops landed at Cape Town for a route march, refused clasp "Cape Colony". Case of No: 9856, Sgt A. Butler, Roy. A.M. Corps.

I looked up the QSA roll for this man to see if there was a reference to the CC clasp. The roll is hand written and all the CC clasps have been crossed through. While there are many references on the page, I cannot see one to account for the deletion of the CC entitlement.
