1900 - Mafeking siege day 207 (95%). Hunter joins Paget at Fourteen Streams. Transvaal Volksraad meets for the last time.
1901 - Elliot commences his third drive in N.E. Free State.
1902 - Serious accident to armoured train near Pretoria.

Natives this morning brought in 6 fat oxen from the enemy’s lines; this is some slight recompense for our losses yesterday.
