Hebron surrenders.
Reported from Pretoria on this day - "During the days immediately following the occupation of Pretoria, three men of the Canadian Mounted Infantry lost their way and went through the Boer lines unperceived. They arrived at Hebron, the inhabitants of which place, thinking they were the forerunners of a British force, gladly surrendered the town and gave up their rifles and ammunition. The Canadians accepted the surrender, and, commandeering an ox-waggon, actually passed once more through the Boer lines and arrived at Pretoria with eighty-eight rifles and a huge quantity of ammunition.
