From the Aberdeen Journal, 2 June 1900, news of a pro-Boer meeting in that city. I hadn't thought there had been much support in the UK for the Boers but perhaps this was not correct?

The same publication, The Weekly Standard and Express, carried a report of an exhibition of Boer War material at the RUSI that had been brought back by HMS Powerful. It must have been one of the first such exhibitions.

David,
I think it is good in these hard times to take a few moments to look back at the key dates in our history, I can confirm that I always do and will be having another drink or two on the 18th of June, moreover, I always raise my glass on the 15th of September and the 21st of October too!
Britain really was truly great not so many years ago.
Kind regards Frank
