Sam Brown Belts and Swords will be taken by Officers to South Africa and will be left on the transport for return after arrival in South Africa.
R.O. 84 – 05-03-1900
John Brothers, having enlisted in Ottawa for service in Strathcona’s Horse is hereby taken on strength of the Regiment from March 5th, 1900, and posted to “B” Squadron. His regimental number will be 465
R.O. 85 – 05-03-1900
Albert Percival Lorsch, having enlisted in Ottawa for service in Strathcona’s Horse is hereby taken on strength of the Regiment from March 5th, 1900, and posted to “A” Squadron. His regimental number will be 466.
R.O. 86 – 05-03-1900
Harold Christie Thomson, having enlisted in Ottawa for service in Strathcona’s Horse is hereby taken on strength of the Regiment from March 5th, 1900, and posted to “A” Squadron. His regimental number will be 467.
R.O. 87 – 05-03-1900
Captain D. M. Howard having reported for duty will take command of “B” Squadron.
R.O. 88 – 05-03-1900
Two Hundred and Fifty Horses (250) having arrived from the west are temporally attached to “A” Squadron.
