[/b]Regimental Order -0-0-0-0-0 Ottawa, 10th March 1900 By Lt. Col. Steele, Commanding, Strathcona’s Horse R.O. 100– 10-03-1900 Regt. No. 425 Pte. J. H. A. Williams of “C” Squadron having been discharged as “medically unfit” for service is hereby struck off strength of the Regiment from this date. CANCELLED R.O. 101 – 10-03-1900 The following officers having reported for duty are posted as set opposite their respective names: Lieut. H.D.B. Ketchen, Machine Gun Detachment, “A” Squadron Lieut. Hy. Seymore Tobin, attached “A” Squadron Lieut. Guy H. Kirkpatrick attached to “A” Squadron R.O. 102 – 10-03-1900 A Board of Officers of the following detail will assemble on Monday next at a time fixed by the President to report on and inspect the quarters vacated by the Regiment. The Board will assemble immediately the Quartermaster reports the quarters clean and in proper order. President: Captain D. M. Howard Members: Lieutenant Kirkpatrick, Lieutenant Strange R.O. 103 – 10-03-1900 All acting Non-Commissioned ranks are hereby cancelled. R.O. 104 – 10-03-1900 Regimental No. 430 Pte. G. E. Laidlaw of “A” Squadron having been discharged is struck off the strength of the Regiment from this date. R.O. 105 – 10-03-1900 Lieutenant E. C. Parker of “C” Squadron having resigned is struck off the strength of the Regiment from this date. R.O. 106 – 10-03-1900 Lieutenant G. E. Laidlaw having reported is posted to “A” Squadron for duty on Machine Gun Detachment. R.O. 107 – 10-03-1900 E. C. Parker, having enlisted at Ottawa on the 10th March, 1900, for service in Strathcona’s Horse is hereby taken on strength of the Regiment and posted to “C” Squadron. His regimental number will be 514. R.O. 111 – 10-03-1900 Lieutenant Harper will proceed to Halifax tomorrow, Sunday by the 8:45 a.m. train for the purpose of receiving and checking transport. Corporal Nicol and Regt. No. 435 Pte. Lee will report to Lieut. Harper for duty at 7 a.m. and proceed to Halifax.
