Squadron, Troop and Company officers are directed to inspect all arms and accoutrements issued and in use in their commands daily. Great care should be taken that these articles are kept perfectly clean, free from rust well oiled. The Quartermaster will arrange to complete issues of all arms to Strathcona’s Horse immediately.

The attention of all ranks is drawn to R. O. 127 of 16.3.00 in reference to smoking onboard ship. It must be distinctly understood that any carelessness in the matter of cigar or cigarette smoking will result in the total prohibition of the use of these articles.
R.O. 150 – 20-03-1900
Orderly Officer for tomorrow Lieutenant Harper, next for duty Lieutenant Sutton, attached.
R.O. 151 – 20-03-1900
Lieutenant Magee will lecture N. C. Officers and men on musketry as follows :-
“A” Squadron at 2.00 p.m. today
“B” Squadron at 2.45 p.m. today
“C” Squadron at 9.00 a.m. tomorrow, the 21st inst. in the men’s quarters.
R.O. 152 – 20-03-1900
Until further orders all daily returns must be ready for the signature of squadron officers not later than 9.00 a.m. and return correct to the Regimental Sergeant Major for delivery to the Adjutant at 10.00 a.m. each day.
R.O. 153 – 20-03-1900
It must be distinctly understood that the only channel of communications between any man, other than a batman and an Officer is through (1st) his Squadron Orderly N. C. Officer and then with permission of his Squadron Sergeant Major. Any infraction of this order will be severely dealt with.
