A board of Officers of the following detail will assemble this a.m. to report on the death of horses Regt. No. 120, 265, 74 of “A” Squadron and 158 and 165 of “C” Squadron lost on the 19th inst. Also 155, 131 of “C” Squadron, 367, 450, 489 and 376 of “B” Squadron and 566 of “A” Squadron all lost on the 20th inst. Also horses 366 and 424 of “B” Squadron lost on the 21st inst.
(Also the loss of horse Regt. No. 320 of “B” Squadron lost en-route to Halifax by train)
The evidence of the Vet. Lieutenant Surgeon will be included in proceedings.

Horses Regimental Numbers 38, 149, 98, 334, 345, 415, 497 and 370 having died are hereby struck off strength of the Regiment. The first two from the 19th inst and the last six from the 20th inst.
R.O. 164 – 22-03-1900
Horse Regimental Number 320 of “B” Squadron having died on the 13th March 1900 is struck off strength of the Regiment from that date.
R.O. 165 – 22-03-1900
The Regiment will parade tomorrow and daily by Squadrons with rifles and side arms as follows :-
“A” Squadron - 9.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m.
“B” Squadron - 10.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.
“C” Squadron - 2.00 p.m. to 3.00 p.m.

R.O. 166 – 22-03-1900
Privates promoted to other ranks, in R.O. 108 of the 10th March 1900 are hereby transferred to Squadrons and Troops therein shown.
R.O. 167 – 22-03-1900
All decks are to be kept neat and clean and free from refuse of any kind. N.C. Officers, Military Police and all sentries must see that this order is enforced.
R.O. 168 – 22-03-1900
The detail for stable duties is as follows :-
“A” Squadron, Troops 2 and 4 mounting 8 p.m. 22nd inst.
“A” Squadron, Troop 3 }
} Mounting 8 a.m. 23rd inst.
“B” Squadron, Troop 1 }

Captain for the day for tomorrow, Captain Cameron, next for duty Captain Cartwright.
Orderly Officer for tomorrow Lieutenant Strange, next for duty Lieutenant Macdonald.

When complaints are made regarding meals by N. C. Officers of Men, the Officer of the Day will immediately send for the Chief Steward of the Boat and together they will examine the rations complained of.
R.O. 171 – 22-03-1900
R. O. 1 of the 8th February 1900, referring to the acting appointment of R.S.M. F. K. Elliott, is hereby cancelled in so far as the appointment affects that rank.
