Until further orders the dress will be as follows :-
Fatigue and Stable Dress – Sweaters, Serge Breeches, Brown Boots and Service Caps.
Dress for Duty – Khaki, Canvas Shoes, Service Caps. Socks to be worn over leg of breeches.
Parade – Khaki, Brown Boots, and Service Caps.
R.O. 172 – 23-03-1900
Mr. Runter, groom to General Hutton, is attached to “C” Squadron for rations.
R.O. 173 – 23-03-1900
Until further orders, Senior Sergeants will be held responsible for the condition and cleanliness of their troop decks. Before proceeding on duty they will invariably hand this charge over to the next senior troop N.C.O.
R.O. 174 – 23-03-1900
O.C.’s Squadrons will see that all N.C.O.’s and men of their command have, when necessary, their hair cut, are shaved of have their beards trimmed.
R.O. 175 – 23-03-1900
Officers Commanding Squadrons will immediately have a nominal roll of their Squadrons prepared by troops, and another and separate role by sections showing the senior man of sections.

The detail for stable duties is as follows :-
“B” Squadron, Troops 4 and “C” Squadron Troop 1 mounting 8 p.m. 23nd inst.
“B” Squadron, Troops 3 & 4, 8 a.m. 24th inst.

Captain for the day for tomorrow, Captain Cartwright, next for duty Captain Boyd, R.C.R.I.
Orderly Officer for tomorrow Lieutenant Macdonald, next for duty Lieutenant Strange.

Troops 1 and 2 of “A” Squadron will parade at hospital at 2 p.m. today for vaccination.
R.O. 179 – 23-03-1900
A Board of Officers of the following detail will assemble tomorrow to report on the loss of Horses Regt. No.’s: 295, 427, 128, dies on 21st inst. 368, 561, 549, 199, 341, 370, 226, 504, 399, 475, dis on 22nd inst. 182, 500, 172, 55, 32, 547, 186, 281, dies on 23rd inst.
R.O. 180 – 23-03-1900
Horses Regt. No.’s 120, 265, 74, 158, 165, 155, 131, 367, 430, 489, 376, 566, 366, 424, having died are hereby struck off strength of the regiment.
