5.00 am to 6.00 am Nos. 2, 3, and 4 “B” Squadron
6.00 am to 7.00 am Nos. 4 “A” Squadron and Nos. 1, 2 and 3 “C” Squadron
Evening Squadron
Nos. 2 and 3 “A” Squadron
Nos. 1 and 4 “B” Squadron
Nos. 1 and 2 “C” Squadron
“A” Squadron will take Starboard Side
“B” Squadron will take Port Side
On account of two (2) of “A” and two (2) of “B” coming on at the same time on this date No. 4 of “B” will drill with “C” Squadron and take the Starboard side.

The following horses having died of pneumonia are hereby struck off the strength of the regiment. Nos. 56 & 477 of “A” Squadron, Nos. 299, 428, 317 & 513 of “B” Squadron, Nos. 220, 167, 168, 583, & 239 of “C” Squadron. All horses died on the 27th inst.

A board of officers will assemble to-morrow and report on the loss of the following horses regimentally numbered :-
“A” Squadron – Nos. 60, 545
“B” Squadron – Nos. 392, 327, 526
“C” Squadron – Nos. 227, 174, 287

R.O. 230 – 30-03-1900
Refering to Sec. 1 Par. 22 pp 24 “Manual of Drill for Mounted Troops “Marching to the Flanks”. The words of command “Move to the right in half groups in succession and Move to the right by single file in succession will be discontinued and the words “Move to the right by half sections, half sections right – quick march and Move to the right single file – Single files right – Quick march” will be used until further orders. Referring to see, 2 para. 4 pp 50, “Dismissing a Squad” until further orders the following will be the second part of the dismiss. On the word “Dismiss” the men will port arms, take a side pace to the left after a pause shoulder arms and break off quietly.
