R.O. 239 – 02-04-1900

Officer of the Day for tomorrow, Lieutenants Winters R.C.R.I., next for duty Lieutenant Bliss C.M.R.

R.O. 240 – 02-04-1900

The detail for stable duties is as follows :-

Mounting 8:00 a.m., Major Laurie in command :- 4th Troop “B” Squadron, 1st and 2nd Troop “C” Squadron

Mounting 8:00 p.m. Captain Howard in command :- 1st Troop “B” Squadron, 2nd and 3rd Troops “A” Squadron

R.O. 241 – 02-04-1900

Detail for drill is as follows :-

5.00 am to 6.00 am Nos. 2, 3 and 4 “A” Squadron
6.00 am to 7.00 am Nos. 1, 2 and 3 “B” Squadron
4.00 pm to 5.00 pm Nos. 1 “A”, 4 “A” and 2 “B” Squadron
5.00 pm to 6.00 pm Nos. 3 “B” and 3 and 4 “C” Squadron

The drill will be manual and firing exercise.

R.O. 242 – 02-04-1900

A board of Officers of the following detail, President, Captain Howard, Members, Lieutenants Fall and Courtney, will assemble tomorrow and report on the loss of the following horses, regimentally numbered :- “A” Squadron, 275,579, 105, 470, “B” Squadron, 68, 523, 375, 450, 373, 417, 432, 377, 353, “C” Squadron, 487, 173, 144, 213, 488. The evidence of Vet. Surgn. Stephenson and F.Q.M. Sergt. McMillan will be taken.

R.O. 243 – 02-04-1900

Commencing from tomorrow and until further orders revile will sound at 5.00 am, Morning Bath 5.15 am. Morning stable piquet will rise at 6 am, bath and wash decks at 6.15 am. Mess hours, Evening drills and other duties will be as usual.

R.O. 244 – 02-04-1900

Firing Exercise

From 2.00 to 3.00 pm balance of 1st Troop “A” Squadron 20 men
From 3.00 to 4.00 pm balance of 2nd Troop “B” Squadron 20 men

The Squadron Captains, Troop Officers and Staff Officers will receive instructions in the manual and firing exercise from 10.00 am till 11.00 am daily until further orders.

R.O. 245 – 02-04-1900

Until further orders stable picquets will parade in shirt sleeves. Blue guernseys will not be worn.
