R.O. 354 – 14-04-1900
Only number 5 latrine is to be used by the men of the regiment. The Sergeant of the Guard will instruct his entries to see that the others are not interfered with in any shape or form.
R.O. 355 – 14-04-1900
Until further orders horses will be watered by squadrons commencing with "C" Squadron.
The squadron call will be sounded followed by "Water" on which the squadron file out and water the horses.
The Officer of the Day will be present at the water trough during watering and see that this order is properly carried out.

Rifles and side arms mut be kept clean and ready for immediate use.
Troop officers will be respondible that this is carried out.
R.O. 357 – 14-04-1900
Officers of the Day must understand that their duties do not consist of just "orderly" duties. They will attend all drills and look after the drill and interior economy of their troops in thr usual way.

Instruction in rifle and firing exercise, must always carry a rifle and be particular in showing the men how each movement with rifle is performed.

Grooms will attend Morning and Afternoon parade. Batmen the Afternoon parade.
R.O. 360 – 14-04-1900
Until further orders the detail for drill will be as follows:-
The first fifteen (15) minuets, Manual and Firing excercise.
The second fifteen (15) minuets, extended order by sections.
The third thirty (30), Marching, Wheeling, Inclining by troops and troop drill, movement of the rifle on the march.
They will then form into squadrons for squadron drill for half an hour after which they will be prepared for regimental drill if necessary.
