R.O. 428 – 24-04-1900
"A" and "B" Squadrons will parade this a.m. in their horse lines for the purpose of fitting saddlery and equipment, under Squadron and Troop Officers.
All Officers, N.C.O.'s and Men must be mounted and will be inspected.
R.O. 429 – 24-04-1900
All kit which is not being taken to the front must be packed at once and got ready to be deposited in the store room being provided.
The baggage will be stored away commencing with "A" Squadron, "B" Squadron starting when "A" is complete unless there is more than one storeroom.
Major Biogger will take charge of all Officers' baggage which must be gotten ready immediately.
R.O. 430 – 24-04-1900
The practice of Officers and N.C.O.'s taking men from squadrons and troops without proper authority must be discontinued at once. When any men are required for any fatigue or duty they must be asked for through this office.
R.O. 431 – 24-04-1900
A board of Officers will assemble to-morrow morning to enquire into the loss of kit and arms belonging to the following men of "B" Squadron.
Regt. No. 489 Private Thompson, F., Revolver No. 3383, Belt, Mayonet #4 and Scabbard.
Regt. No. 218 Private MacDonald, G.A.J., Revolver No. 2378, Belt, Scabbard #796.
Regt. No. 422 Private Lewis, F., Rifle No. 329.
The board will consist of president Captain Howard of "C" Squadron, Members Lieutenants Tobin of "B" Squadron and Christie of "A" Squadron.
R.O. 432 – 24-04-1900
All articles of clothing and equipment, especially in warm clothing, sweaters &c which are deficient in all ranks must be replaced at once. In all cases where the item has been lost through the negligence or other causes they must be replaced at the expense of the owners. This order must be attended to at once.
