Oil bottles in rifles must be kept filled. Field dressing and identification cards must be completed at once. Stable kits must be completed at once.

Until further orders the duties of the Captain of the Day will end at 10.00 pm, when he will inspect the guards, all sentries, and stable picquets. The subaltern of the day will visit the guards, sentries and stable picquest once after midnight.

The following horses regimentally numbered as stated below having died and been shot are hereby struck off the strength of the regiment:
519, 316, 180, 106 Died of Pneumonia
79, 96, 425, 324, 246, 592 Shot suffering from Glanders
509 Shot suffering from fractured Acetabulum

Until further orders Reg. No. 65 Private Inkster J., will be employed as shoeing-smith in "A" Squadron, vice Reg. No. 84 Private Campbell, M.G.
R.O. 441 – 26-04-1900
Regimental Number 392 Private Simmel, J., Number 3 Troop, "C" Squadron, having died at 2.00pm of the 25th inst. of Pyaemia at Woodstock Hospital is hereby struck off the strength of the regiment from this date.
R.O. 442 – 26-04-1900
All kit bags and property of the Regiment, which will be stored in Cape Town must be marked Regimental Number, Name, with inital troop, and squadron of the regiment.
