Regt. No. 216 Private Miller, A., of No. 2 "B" Squadron is here by transfered to No. 1 "B" from this date, and is to act as batman to Major Jarvis.

R.O. 466-30-04-1900

"A", "B", and "C" Squadrons will parade this afternoon mounted, every Officer, N.C. Officer and Private who is well and fit to ride must be on parade as this will perhaps be the last chance the regiment will have of practicing dismounted duty, every attention must be given to the work especially to mounting, dismounting, linking horses &c. The drill will be continued until the men are quite conversant with it.

"B" Squadron men who are on baggage fatigue will parade and be instructed in the same work after they have completed storing the baggage. Where there are not a sufficient number of horses to mount all the men of a squadron, these men will be mounted afterwards and instructed. Farriers, Shoeing-Smiths and Cooks only will be excused these parades.

First Parade Fall In :-

"A", "B", "C" 1.30 pm, General Parade 2.00 pm

Second Parade Fall In :-

"A", "B", "C" 3.15 pm, General Parade 3.30 pm

Regt. No. 452, Corporal Nicol, D. to be Sergeant vice Sergt. Edmundson attached to maxim guns.
Regt. No. 95, Corporal Trelevean to be Sergeant vice Sergt. Johnson attached to maxim guns.
Regt. No. 437, Private Grey, W. to be Corporal vice Corporal Nicol, promoted.
Regt. No. 262. Private Woods, W.F., to be Corporal vice Corporal Percy reverted.
Regt. No. 170 Private Armstrong, J.F. to be Corporal vice Corporal Bell, P.W.W. transfered.
Regt, No. 38 Private Sawyer, W. and Regt. No. 50 Private Trail, W.H., To be Corporals on probation.

Regt. No. 23 Private Hawthorn, W. having completed his term of imprisonment is hereby released and return to duty from this date.

Referrin to Regimental Order No. 198 as regards the acting appointment of Regimental Number 3 R.S.M. Steele and Regimental Number 428 Orderly Room Staff Sergeant Bulloch - these N.C.O.'s are hereby confirmed from the date of their acting appointment.
