59 Bhistis are taken on strength of the regiment for service in connection with the pack animals. They are posted to "B" Squadron from May 28th, 1900.

303 Pack ponies and 2 mules are taken on the strength of the regiment and posted to "B" Squadron from May 28th, 1900.

Until the arrival of balance of "A" and "C" Squadrons, Sergt. Routh will act as Sergeant Major and Sergt. Kelly as Q.M. Sergt.
R.O. 002-01-06-1900
"A" Squadron men on machine gun will draw rations and mess with "A" Squadron and "B" and "C" Squadron men with "C" Squadron.
R.O. 003-01-06-1900
A guard of sic men will mount at 5.30 pm daily, one sentry posted in front of camp and one sentry on ammunition, the tranport will supply their own guards.

Sentries and horse lines will be visited frequently during the night by the Orderly Officer
