The following order is published for the information of the Acting Paymaster:

The following punishments and fines relating to pay sheets were inflicted during the month of May 1900:

150 Private Lamont, Fined 2s/6d
61 Private Bride, F., Fined 2s/6d
34 Private Robinson, Fined 5s
281 Private Harper, F., Fined 10/s
275 Private Fanning, F. Fined 10/s
199 Private Hicks, R.C.H. Finded 2s/6d
44 Private Wilson-Smith, 14 Days Hard Labour
84 Private Campbell, M.G., 23 Days Hard Labour, Balance of labour imposed by court martial.

There will be a marching out parade of "A" and "C" Squadrons this afternoon.

The Squadrons will fall in on their private parade grounds at 1.30 pm and will be inspected there and will fall in on the general parade ground at 2.00 pm. Dress: Drill Order.

A Board of Officers of the following detail, President Capt. Cameron, Members Lieut. Strange and Christie will assemble at 9.00 am tomorrow for the purpose of reporting on the death of horse Reg. No. 714 of "C" Squadron and Transport horses Reg. No. 886 & 224. Evidence of F.Q.M. Sgt. McMillan will be taken.

There will be a general fatigue party at 8.30 am tomorrow for the purpose of cleaning up, any tin cans, boxes, or any kind of rubbish, within or in the near vicinity of the camp lines, Squadron Commanders will give necessary orders to their respective officers to see that this order is strictly carried out.

The transport officer will furnish two teams to each squadron in which all rubbish is to be put and then hauled and dumped in a spot pointed out by the Regt. Sergt. major.

The Officer Commanding the gun detachment will have his men also clear up their tent and horse lines at the same time. One team will be furnished by the transport officer for their use.

After the camp is cleaned up every N.C.O. and Man must either spread or hang his bedding up in the near vicinity of his tent for airing, they must be left out for at least three hours weather permitting.
