Regimental Order

Commanding "Strathcona's Horse"
Newcastle

18th June 1900


R.O. 703-18-06-1900

The regiment will march at 9am tomorrow, the 19th, every effort must be made by all ranks to get away at the time mentioned. All extra kit must be stored this afternoon. The tents will be taken and issued to squadrons by quartermaster at once.

Squadron commanders will responsible for all, and baggage and tents, cooking utensils etc for their squadrons. The kit to be taken by each man will be as follows:- one waterproof sheet, one double blanket, one change of underclothing, hold-all to be fitted with knife, fork and spoon, towel and soap.

Subaltern for the day – Lieut. Harper
Next for duty – Lieut. White-Fraser

A squadron will form the advance guard tomorrow. Next for duty B squadron.
