No.2 Appointments
The following appointments will date from the 1st June 1900.
Reg. No. 50 A/Cpl Traill to be L/Cpl.
Reg. No. 38 A/Cpl Sawyer to be L/Cpl.
Reg. No. 30 A/Cpl Humphrey to be L/Cpl.
They will draw pay at the rate of 1s/6d per day as per army order.

3rd Mounted Brigade Orders
Standerton, Transvaal
26th June 1900
No. 1 Forage
Whenever forage or supplies of any sort are brought in they are to be invariably handed over to the supply column and not to the regimental lines.
No. 2 Orders
Attention is directed to the Natal Army Order, No. 1, 4, 5 and 6 of June 25th and No. 1 of June 26th, 1900.
No. 3 Fuel
All corps are reminded the men are not to pull up pailings or indiscriminately take wood for burning purposes. When the supply officer is near he is invariably to be applied to when he will supply wood if possible.
No. 4 Duties
Regiment for duty tomorrow, T.M.I. The Regiment on duty will supply 6 men daily for grazing guard who will be posted as shown in a map which is to be circulated.
Grazing Guards are to be given orders that no cattle of any sort stray beyond the limits of the camp.
Guards will mount at dawn and remain on duty as long as there are any animals grazing.
No. 5 Out of Bounds
With reference to the order placing the town out of bounds any men sent to the town on duty other than with water carts or to water horses must be in possession of a pass.
Passes may be signed by O.C. Units and it must be stated in these passes on what duty the men are being sent.
All ground more than a mile from the present camp is placed out of bounds.
No. 6 Departured
50 Men of Bethune's Mounted Infantry proceeded this day to Ketbosch Spruit.
