No. 2 Dress
The water bottle strap must hereafter be worn under the bandolier.
No. 3 Signals
A signal will be used by members of the regiment when on outpost, patrolling &c. Every member of the regiment must make himself familiar with it. The signal will be as follows:
The hat will be raised from the head with the right hand at the brim, and extended to the right to full extent of the arm, lowered three times to the side and again placed on the head.
The Adjutant will explain to Squadron Commanders in the morning before the day patrol goes out the manner in which the O.C. wishes the signal performed. The object of the signal is to know our own men.
No. 4 Ammunition
Attention is drawn to Regt. Order No. 8 of yesterday re-ammunition. The O.C. noticed today a number of bandoliers in every squadron were not filled. This order must be complied with strictly and the men must be complete with ammunition before marching in the morning.

No. 1 Halts
The brigade will halt tomorrow. Regiment for duty: Strathcona's Horse.
No. 2 Water
Drinking water can be obtained near the dam close to the railway line where the pumps have been put up. Horses and Cattle can be watered at that dam or at the dam close to the mine. Washing can be done in the spring below the mine. The O.C. - T.M.I. will furnish a sentry during the day over the dam near the dam mine to prevent washing in it.
