No. 2 Promotions:
The following promotions will date from today:
To be Sergeant: - Reg. No. 334 Cpl. Lockhart, No. 3 Troop "C" Squadron vice Sergt. D'Amour transferred to "A" Squadron.
To be Corporal: - Reg. No. 328 Grogan No. 3 Troop "C" Squadron vice Cpl. Lockhart promoted.
To be Acting-Corporals: - Reg. No. 131 Pte. Mills, J., No. 4 Troop "A" Squadron vice Reg. No. 237 Cpl. Armstrong sick. Reg. No. 193 Pte. Flintoff, No. 2 Troop "B" Squadron, vice. Cpl. Mitchell, sick.
No. 3 Moves
In accordance with Brigade Orders 50 men of "B" Squadron will march with Col. Copley tomorrow at 9.00 am. Lieut. Tobin will command and will report to Col. Copley for orders. The 50 men must be ready to march at 8.30 am.
No. 4 Moves
The first squadron ready to march each morning will have the honour of marching at the head of the regiment this will also apply to troops, the first troop ready will march at the head of that squadron. If a squadron is to be left just as "C" Squadron was detailed ro remain at Greylingstadt the last Squadron on parade will be the squadron to stay behind. In some cases there is to much confusion and delay.

Reveille will be at 6.30 tomorrow morning.

3rd Mounted Brigade Orders

No. 1 Moves
The Brigade will halt tomorrow. Regiment for duty: Strathcona's Horse
No. 2 Detachment
A force composed as under will march at 9.00 am tomorrow under command of Lieut.-Colonel Hewick-Copley, 3rd King's Royal Rifle Corps, 50 men T.M.I., 50 men Strathcona's Horse. The O.C.'s of these detachments to report to Col. Copley for orders. The force will march to the railway bridge over the Zwickerbosch Spruit. From there the 50 men of Strathcona's Horse will return at once to this camp. The 50 men of T.M.I. with 1/2 Battalion K.R.R.C. will remain encamped until further orders to cover the reconstruction of the railway bridge. Eight days supplies for man and horse will be sent out for the party of T.M.I.
