The Palmer roll shows Lt. Guy H.Irvine as killed in action as indicated on the plaque whilst attending the wounded. He was the son of Surgeon-Major G.N. Irvine, was born August 1875. He entered the RAMC in July 1899 and arrived in SA in October of that year.
