At Battle Parish Church this morning a memorial brass to Captain McLean and the men of the Sussex Imperial Yeomanry who fell at the front was dedicated at a special service conducted by the Dean of Battle. The memorial was unveiled by the Duke of Norfolk. Captain McLean was a well-known rowing expert, and coached the Oxford crew up to the day he sailed for South Africa.
