Quite frankly, this sort of thing only very seldom enters the marketplace and is certainly not without value, I take it you do not actually own it?

Sadly, no. It's in a museum, along with lots of other regimental silverware. I'm not sure if I should give the location, for safety's sake. What do the ABW members think?

Yes this does come out of the woodwork occasionally..... I remember back in the mid to late 1970's when I was stationed in the UK I attended an auction where there was a large amount of Regimental Silver and China as being sold..... Did not have the funds to buy anything at the time......
