Very nice, deacs. What sort of area did the 3rd V.B. recruit from?

Sorry Bernice I haven't got your answer I am afraid I know I have seen evidence that the Cockermouth area was the 1st VB so I will have a guess that the 3rd could be the Aspatria, Wigton area ?

Mike.

2nd V.B. seems to have been more to the east, perhaps Westmorland, as there's a related plaque at Langdale.
