I have searched this topic twice-all 24 pages of it and can find no mention of this memorial- a Google search gives some details of what is obviously an impressive memorial but nowhere can I find an image of one of the panels that apparently lists about 70 members of this Regt who died in South Africa. Can anybody help?

That is the best photo I have yet to see of this memorial but what I am really interested is the two side panels that list the casualties seeing I have one namely Pte C.Williams

I guess I should organise myself a visit to London now. Georgegt351, can you wait a few months?

Private 4054 C Williams is indeed on that memorial.

There are 28,400 records of names on memorials on FindmyPast or The Register.

Thanks for the relies-I am in no hurry for the photo-it is just something I like doing-namely matching a medal to a memorial - from previous discussion on this forum he doesn't appear to have a marked grave or be on any memorial in South Africa.

He is also difficult to track as there must be at least 50 C.Williams who served in different units in South Africa.

If anyone has access to Find my Past I would be interested in what they say about him.
