Apologise if Bernice as already posted this memorial but I was at a wedding at the weekend at Holy Trinity, Millom and spotted this memorial.

Private George Mason Park, 3131 Royal Lancaster Regiment killed at Spion Kop, January 24th 1900.

His service record are on Ancestry I don't know if I am allowed to post onto this forum so I'll not do it unless someone says is it ok to do so.

He joined the Royal Lancasters on the 2nd January 1891 at Lancaster he was 18 years and 7 months of age and he was a labourer.

Well spotted, deacs, especially during a wedding! No, that's not a church I've been in yet, nor have I been to Millom. Thanks for sharing.
