Thanks for these Elmarie, don't think three brothers have been noted as dying during the war.

Looks like the cross over the grave was not put together correctly - the middle block on the main face is blank.

Certainly little expense spared with both of those memorials, I would think the former had been put together correctly, originally, at least, it certainly does look rather odd now.

Just re-read the inscriptions, only two killed during the war - Alastair was killed in December 1902. He had served in the war as well.

There are two memorials in the UK to the brothers in St Leonard's, Hythe, Kent and All Saints, Mixbury, Oxfordshire.

Thank you for this info. It is still sad that 3 brothers died so far away from home.
