At St. Mary the Virgin Church, North Stainley, about 3 miles north-west of Ripon, Yorkshire.







Son of Thomas (died 1887) and Martha (died 1901) Watson, of North Lees Grange.

Unusual that no unit is mentioned on the memorial.

I am sure this is 1544 TE Watson SAC named on the Yorkshire Memorial, York.

As he died after peace was declared he is not in the official casualty rolls.
