At Allendale, Northumberland. Although the taps on either side of the fountain looked to be fairly recent additions, there was no flow of water.

The side taps are recent additions. When this was recorded for the Anglo-Boer War Memorials Project back in November 1989 there was on each side a "water spout .. and drinking cup on a chain."

Good to see the planters, the community is looking out for the memorial.
