The Jubilee Memorial Tower, in Otley's Market Place, commemorates Queen Victoria's reign of 50 years (1837-1887).
There's also an inlaid stone which was presented by Belgian refugees who stayed in Otley during the First World War, and a plaque commemorating both Victory in Europe and Victory in Japan.

Palmer gives "10477 Pte G. Sedman, Died of Disease, Deelfontein, 13/1/01 15th IY". SAFF shows his initial as "G" as well. However, my IY CD lists him as initials J.W. and his unit as 57th Coy.
Palmer gives "5913 Spr. J.Duell, Died of Disease, Kimberley 23/5/00 2nd West York 20th Coy., R.E."
Regards
IL.
