In Bury Art Museum, Greater Manchester.
An (incorrect) information card inside the cabinet reads: - "This large, two-handled, lidded, hall-marked silver cup, on an ebonised base, decorated with embossed & engraved feathers on the cup base & lid, with the County Borough coat of arms and a dedicatory inscription engraved on the front is a memorial to all those members of the Lancashire Fusilier Volunteer Battalion who lost their lives during the Boer War. All the names of the dead from the 3 companies are on 3 silver plaques around the ebonised base. The cup is displayed in a purpose-built mahogany case with lion's paw feet. It was presented to Bury Art Museum in 1902 by Henry Whitehead, owner of a local cotton-bleaching company." The names are actually of those who served in the battalion.
