In the UOTC (University Officers' Training Corps) Hall, Manchester University, about 20 feet above ground level. The title of the post seems to me to be a bit clunky; can anyone suggest something a bit snappier?

Thanks, David.

The IWM site has this roll of honour as "Lancashire Yeomanry Boer War," and that its previous location was the TA Centre, Stretford Road, Hulme, Manchester. Perhaps it was in a drill hall prior to that.

Walter Hardwick and Horatio Garnet Pierce were both in the 21st (Cheshire) Company Imperial Yeomanry.

Derenzy Collingwood D. Selby also seems to have served in the Cape Police after the Imperial Yeomanry.
